Rafelitos is born from the combination of a group of Latin American people with unique talents, who came together to give the answer to the search for authentic food that reminds us of being close to home... and in this way create a service that offers authentic flavors with the best ingredients, all in a Latin American atmosphere.

The Rafelitos team is passionate about sharing experiences thought creating dishes and art, that tell stories of who we are, where we come from and thus connect with ourselves and our ancestors.

  • Reyna Ramirez Moralez

    Oaxaca, Mexico

    Passionate about the gastronomy of Mexico, proud of her home state Oaxaca, a beautiful city where she grew up enjoying its rich culinary culture. She learned the recipes and flavors from her mother.

    All those experiences and wisdom have helped her to understand and respect the importance of cooking food with natural ingredients. Now she wants to give to the community that sensation to the palate.

  • Francisco Ramírez Morales

    Oaxaca, Mexico

    A Mexican painter, was born in Oaxaca state. He is considered an independent artist and through his work, he expresses different feelings, culture, emotions as well as beliefs and life experiences.

    When you observe his works as a painter, the mixes of colors show the importance of the cultural diversity that he has been exposed to on his journey as an artist.

  • Jackie McConnell

    Salinas, Ecuador

    Adventurous, creative and resilient. Born by the mountains in the capital of Ecuador and raised by the ocean. Passionate for challenges, with a MD in the environmental field, moved to the last frontier and found her heart burning for sharing the latino culture with the place she proudly calls home now.

  • Mavi Worral

    Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

    Born and raised in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, Mavi moved to Cancun to achieve his culinary dream, working along with some of the best chefs and learning the Caribbean cuisine, then later he decided to move to Alaska and had the opportunity to work with some of the best chefs in town, learning and practicing new techniques and different cuisines. Mavi has been always proud of his roots and is happy to share his culture through every bite of each creation.

    With a great passion for numbers, an unwavering commitment to accuracy, and a drive to make a positive impact. Born in the capital of Peru. Coming from humble beginnings, he witnessed firsthand the transformative power of dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic. His commitment to continuous learning led him to pursue a degree in Accounting and Financial Management, laying a solid foundation for his future career and now leading the excelence of the one of best restaurants of Alaska.
